FAQ
If your question isn’t listed here, please feel free to contact the practice.
No, given the growing list of responsibilities placed on us as GPs, we have decided not to take on this service. We would refer you to the GGD or https://prepnu.nl/artsen/.
Check the ‘My Personal Details’ section in your portal. If you see ‘Apotheek ’s Gravenland’ or ‘Printapotheek’, this means we haven’t received your pharmacy details yet. Please let us know via e-consult. If you change pharmacies, you must also notify us yourself; the pharmacy will not do this.
Yes, you can find all the information under the ‘travel advice’ section on this website.
The GGD provides vaccinations for people up to the age of 26. If you are older, you can get vaccinated at your own expense at places such as: stadskliniek-vaccinations.nl, vaccinatieopmaat.nl and thuisvaccinatie.nl
These costs will be deducted from your excess. You can find the costs on the STAR-SHL website. Please note that the costs for stool tests are often over 300 euros.
Use a special tick remover or a pair of pointed tweezers and pull the tick out as close to the skin as possible. Seek medical advice if the tick has been attached for more than 24 hours or if you notice a red ring appearing around the bite site. https://www.thuisarts.nl/teek/ik-heb-teek.
For patients who require regular check-ups, we have entered into a partnership with the company Viduet. Together with them, we ensure that your appointment takes place on time and is well prepared. They will send you emails on behalf of our practice. Such a message may, for example, be an invitation to complete a medical questionnaire or a request for you to book an appointment with us. We would be very grateful if you could respond to such requests.
If you do not yet have login details, please contact the practice to request them.
Absolutely. Your first point of contact is always your GP. He or she will then work with you to decide on the most appropriate next step.
